Main duties of the job

The apprentice will provide effective and efficient administrative support to the HR & Recruitment Team, part of Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust, whilst completing a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship. The department provides a comprehensive human resource service to the Trust. The centralised recruitment team process pre and post-employment related documents

The qualification, training & experience requirements for the role are underlined in the Job Description/Person Specification.

This post requires the post holder to be able to undertake all statutory and mandatory training and post holders must be able to undertake physical interventions. Fitness for physical intervention will be assessed by Occupational Health.

A valid UK driving licence plus the use of own transport for business purposes is essential. For qualifying staff the Trust has a Lease Car Scheme in place and also offers a popular Salary Sacrifice Car Scheme with our partner Tusker.

Essential

  • GCSE Maths and English grade C/9 or above or Functional skills level 2 in both subjects

LENGTH AND / OR NATURE OF EXPERIENCE

  • Communication skills: verbal, in writing and including the use of IT skills with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and e-mail programmes

  • To be flexible in approach to work and skills / training needs, updating as needed
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow Trust policies and procedures
