Job summary

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic physiotherapist who is dynamic, innovative and passionate about the musculoskeletal specialty. This is an opportunity for a team player to join a forward thinking MSK Department.

The post holder will hold an independent caseload and work closely and collaboratively with the MSK Team, MSK Advanced Practitioners and the wider MSK Service.

Continuing Professional Development is actively encouraged and supported with opportunities to develop skills.

Main duties of the job

  • A Band 6 physiotherapist participates as a member of the physiotherapy team independently managing a specialised clinical caseload. The post holder has no budgetary responsibility.
  • They are expected to have supervisory and teaching responsibility for more junior members of staff and students
  • The post holder will fully develop their independent clinical practices and supervisory skills support by Gloucestershire Health and Care Services clinical and managerial Physiotherapy networks

We are a small, close-knit team working in a beautiful part of the Cotswolds. The candidate is expected to be a good team player and to easily integrate with the current members of staff both within physiotherapy and wider North Cotswolds team.

Working across two locations, you may have occasions where you will be the only MSK physiotherapist in the department so you need to be confident in your capabilities.
