Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Gloucestershire Health & Care Trust for a Business Administrator Apprentice

This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable work experience within an admin setting in the Immunisation Team of Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust and achieve a nationally recognised qualification. You will be supported and developed in the role, learning new skills, whilst undertaking the apprenticeship standard Level 3 in Business Administration.

The candidate will support both the School Aged Immunisation Team. The role will be provide effective and efficient administrative support to team will working in both areas to provide both face to face customer service and telephone/email customer service.

As per the eligibility criteria for government funded apprenticeship schemes applicants must be aged 16 or over or already be in any form of government funded education

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will join an experienced team and will provide the administration support for the school aged Immunisation Team within the Trust.

The role is extremely varied and requires the ability to deal with a wide range of duties which would include meeting and greeting visitors, typing/producing a variety of documents, inputting data and extracting reports and undertake simple analysis, answering the telephone, attending meetings and regular reviews with line Manager, are just a few of things you will be doing whilst working with us.

All we expect is good IT skills, GCSE grade A-C or equivalent in Maths and English, an eagerness to learn new things and flexibility to work in a variety of different teams within the service.

Across Gloucestershire we are the school aged immunisation provider and continue to deliver school aged Immunisations and BCG programme across the county predominantly as a school based programme with a community offer and outreach for hard to reach and vulnerable families.
