We are seeking a motivated and skilled Senior Clinical Fellow or Registrar in Obstetrics & Gynaecology with expertise in early pregnancy assessment, 3-D ultrasound scanning, management of recurrent miscarriage services, and SDEC (Same Day Emergency Care) pathways. Main duties of the job
Main duties and key responsibilities
Provide high-quality care in obstetrics and gynaecology, including early pregnancy assessment and management.Perform gynaecological and early pregnancy ultrasound, including 3-D scanning, independently.Participate in the management of recurrent miscarriage services.Provide care via the SDEC (Same Day Emergency Care) pathway.Participate in elective obstetric theatre lists.Contribute to the development of clinical standards and protocols, ensuring evidence-based practice.Engage in clinical audit, quality improvement, and research activities.Participate in departmental teaching, training, and supervision of junior staff.Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve departmental and hospital objectives.Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with NHS standards
