Do you want to be involved in the ongoing development of our General Internal Medical Wards (GIM) in achieving high quality care and in a fast paced environment? Then look no further, we are looking for a Band 6 to join our energetic team.

If you have a desire to extend your knowledge and skills in this area, and to help ensure that our patients receive the highest standard of care while helping to support and develop the ward team, we would like to hear from you.
You should have a minimum of 2 years' experience at band 5 which should be in an acute setting. Good written and verbal communication skills along with knowledge of IT systems are also required. You should also be a hard-working, assertive and motivated professional.
Smallfield is a 24-bed general medical ward. The successful applicant will be required to coordinate the ward on a day-to-day basis and should therefore have the ability to organize and prioritise their workload, and that of others, use their initiative and be able to solve problems and contribute new ideas within a multi-disciplinary team. They will deputize for the Ward Manager in their absence and will also supervise other members of staff in order to maintain high standards of patient care.
