Job summary
As an Apprentice Resourcing Assistant - Temporary Staffing, you will be supported by the Trust to complete a HR Support Level 3 apprenticeship gaining a CIPD Foundation Certificate in People Practice.
To be eligible for funding for an apprenticeship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Applicants must be at least 16 years old at the start of the apprenticeship. There is no upper age limit for applicants.Applicants must have eligible residency status, resided in the UK or the European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 years and have a right to work in England for the duration of the apprenticeship.Applicants must have no restrictions on access to apprenticeship funding *Please be aware that some VISA conditions restrict access to public funds.Applicants must not be in receipt of any other direct Department for Education funding e.g. a student loanApprentices must not be in fulltime education, enrolled on another funded apprenticeship, completing a further or higher education programme at the same time as the apprenticeship.
The apprenticeship must demonstrate the learning of substantive new skills meaning the content must be unrelated to previous qualifications held at the same or higher level as the apprenticeship.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide essential administrative support to the Temporary Staffing Team, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of Bank recruitment processes. Working within a busy and fast-paced environment, they will be responsible for processing recruitment documentation, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with the coordination of Bank recruitment activities.
This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while supporting the wider team. The post holder will be expected to prioritise their workload, follow recruitment policies and governance procedures, and provide guidance to potential and existing Bank staff. While working autonomously at times, they will escalate any complex issues to the Senior Resourcing Coordinator as needed.
