Job summary
We are excited to announce that due to the continued growth of the department, we seek an enthusiastic, highly motivated and experienced Medical Secretary to join the Trauma & Orthopeadic Department. You should have excellent organisational skills, with a meticulous approach to work and have excellent communication skills. This role will be to support the daily running of the Orthopaedic Virtual Fracture clinic service. The department is very busy therefore an ability to work well under pressure is essential.
You will need to be self-motivated, able to manage your own working time effectively and be computer literate. You will be a team player, willing to help and support your colleagues when necessary. You will be educated to at least GCSE level and preferably have the AMSPAR qualification or an equivalent secretarial qualification. Previous NHS medical secretarial experience is desirable (but not essential).

There is currently 1 full time post (37.5 hors per week) and 1 part time post (22 hours per week) available.
