This a full time post, working 40 hours per week, with no on-call commitment. The post holder will work as part of the Haematology multi-disciplinary team, and the bulk of the commitment will be to the Haematology in-patients on Godstone Haematology ward and patients undergoing chemotherapy for both haematological malignancies and solid tumours on the Chemotherapy Day Unit.
When the Haematology CT2 is on-call or on leave, the Haematology in-patients will be the main focus of the job. The post holder will be expected to assist with haematology clinics and will form part of his/her Job plan.
This appointment will be a full time position on a fixed term basis until August 2025, with the opportunity to extend.
Main duties of the job
Surrey & Sussex Healthcare are looking for enthusiastic Trust Grade Doctor (ST3+ level) to join us in the Haematology departments in our hospital, for a 12-month fixed term contract.
We are looking for applicants with UK experience who have excellent team-working skills with the abilities/professional skills to work well in a multi-professional team.
The successful candidate will join a team of multi-disciplinary staff providing comprehensive care for their inpatients/ emergency admissions. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will be committed to delivering clinical/quality targets agreed both nationally and locally with the clinical teams/commissioners.
