Job summary
Specialty Doctor in Ophthalmology
Applications are invited for a Specialty Doctor in Ophthalmology.
The successful applicant will divide their time between general ophthalmology clinics, assisting in theatre, and emergency care. They will comply with departmental protocols and national guidelines. The post-holder will work within the Surgical Division and will have commitment to the provision of ophthalmic services. The post is based at East Surrey Hospital in Redhill with the additional requirement to support ophthalmic services at Crawley Hospital and Horsham.
Applicants with adequate clinical experience in the UK and full registration with the GMC would be suitable for this post.

The hospital is well situated within easy access to the motorway network M25/M23, Gatwick airport and the South Coast with excellent rail links including to London (35 minutes from Victoria and London Bridge stations).
