We are looking for an experienced trainee that wishes to join a very active and engaging intensive care department, with plenty of opportunities for those wishing to pursue a career in intensive care medicine. For example, we offer FUSIC Heart or level 1 British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) transthoracic echocardiography accreditation, participation in research projects, education, simulation, and teaching in critical care medicine. Applicants should be interested in a career in intensive care medicine or any other acute medical speciality.
This is a highly desired post that also aims to support the increasing work intensity found in the Intensive Care, High Dependency units and Critical Care Outreach teams. Applicants must be familiar with the UK Healthcare system. This post is a full shift system with internal cover for annual and study leave.
Encouragement and dedicated sessions may be offered to the exceptional candidate who shows particular interest in developing an interest within a specific area of intensive care medicine, along with study leave and help with exam preparation if required.
