Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Respiratory Physiologist to become an integral part of the Lung Function and Sleep department at Surrey and Sussex Hospital NHS Trust. This is an exciting time to join the trust, we are continually striving to improve the service and care we offer and the Respiratory Physiology department is currently undergoing service evaluation and modernisation to improve the care we can offer to our patients. As a Respiratory Physiologist you will play a pivotal part in achieving this.
Primarily you will be expected to perform routine lung function tests as well as sleep study tests detailed below and CPAP setup and compliance checks on inpatients and outpatients with supervision from senior members of the department. You will need to support CPAP clinics both face to face and using non-patient facing methods.
We have a newly set up lung function and sleep site at Crawley Hospital - rotation through this site will be essential.
