Job summary
We wish to appoint a Lead Governance Facilitator to join our friendly and supportive medicine management team. This diverse role will allow you to work with a range of stakeholders, ensure that learning takes place and help promote high standards of quality in the governance programme.
You will serve as the lead for operational implementation of the duty of candour legislation in Medicine ensuring that families are kept involved and supported through divisional investigations. You will also serve as a operation lead for investigation practice for complaints and incidents as well as assisting with the quality assurance side of governance. Overall, you will work with the Risk and Governance Manager to improve the quality of the patient/family experience and investigation practice within the division.
The successful candidate must be comfortable with leading and managing a small team, writing reports, responding to complaints, demonstrate excellent organisation and communication skills, be proficient with Microsoft packages and highly IT literate with good keyboard skills.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop in a governance and quality role and the individual will have access to ongoing support and professional development.
