An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and committed Consultant Breast Imaging Radiologist to join the Imaging Department at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust .

The post holder will join a flexible and enthusiastic team in a forward thinking department who are committed to working as 'One Team' for the benefit of patients.

The Imaging department at SASH has team of 23 substantive Consultant Radiologists and 4 Registrars.

The Department is well equipped with 2 Digital Mammography units, one of which has tomosynthesis and a tomosynthesis biopsy facility. 4 CT Scanners , 2 MRI Scanners , Interventional Suite, 2 Gamma Cameras, 4 Ultrasound Rooms with an additional 2 dedicated Breast Ultrasound Units at East Surrey as well as one at Crawley Hospital, DEXA, and multiple General X-Ray Rooms across the acute East Surrey site and satellite Crawley site.

There are opportunities for the successful candidates to work mainly at the East Surrey Hospital and support the Crawley Hospital site This role also requires close working relationships with the established and constructive breast Multi-Disciplinary Team where the 'One Team' approach is key.

Applicants must be on the specialist register or have a CCT date within 6 months of the interview date.
