Do you have the energy and drive to make a difference to the service we provide to our babies? If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust.
In a hospital Trust rated 'Outstanding' by the CQC our newly expanded and refurbished Level 2 Neonatal Unit within the Surrey, Sussex and Kent Neonatal Network has a total of 25 cots. We provide care for over 450 babies per year in our intensive, high dependency and special care nurseries alongside a busy Transitional Care area and a well-established Neonatal Outreach service.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our unit which prides itself on providing excellence in care with a priority of building a partnership with the family. With our values of 'One Team, Safety and Quality, Compassion, Dignity and Respect' you will play a leading role in helping to shape our service by delivering comprehensive and high quality clinical care in partnership with the multidisciplinary team.
You will need to be qualified in specialty and consolidated that learning for a minimum of one year in an acute neonatal setting. As well as progressing and maintaining your nursing skills, there will be opportunities to develop your management skills, working closely with senior staff as well as supporting junior members of the team and students.
