An exciting opportunity has arisen to become an integral member of the Learning and Organisational Development Department. This is a part time opportunity, working 22.5 hours per week on an 18 month fixed term contract.

This role provides administrative support through the whole life cycle of education and learning events. The department provides a range of development opportunities including mandatory training, leadership and personal development courses. The post holder will play a key role in providing first line support for booking requests, ensuring training records are accurately maintained as well as provide technical support for e-learning enquiries.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills as the role involves liaising with colleagues of all levels,trainers and subject matter experts. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, have good attention to detail, be willing to learn new IT systems and think on their feet.

Main duties of the job

To support the administration function of the learning and organisational development agenda to include;

  • Processing bookings for training courses and events.
  • Sending booking confirmation and reminders to delegates.
  • Sending course programmes and timetables to delegates and trainers.
  • Setting up classes on our learning management system OLM to support the booking process and in the future self service.
  • Setting up and facilitating live webinar events for a range of courses across the learning and development portfolio and providing guidance and solutions for any technical queries that arise.
  • Assisting with digital learning enquiries and providing support to employees, enabling them to successfully enrol and complete various e-learning packages.
  • Supporting and assisting with the provision of reports, accurately inputting data in a timely manner to contribute to quality assurance measures and meeting the reporting responsibilities.
  • Contacting managers to follow up non-attendance of delegates on training courses.
  • Collating information regarding new joiners and induction attendance, including the facilitation of the Trust Induction Programme.
  • Collating and circulate evaluation forms to trainers and subject matter experts.
