Job summary

  • Manage the IEP (Image Exchange Portal) service, ensuring that the daily large volumes of imaging are sent out and retrieved in a timely manner. This involves liaising directly with multi-disciplinary teams both inside and outside the Trust to ensure that images are available wherever they are needed in the required timescale
  • Produce CD/DVD's of patients images when required for various purposes including medico-legal purposes, seeking images from a variety of source
  • To understand the entire range of office procedures and practices which require knowledge of a RIS PACS, patient appointments, including examination preparation, and the implementation of Departmental Policie
  • Ensure PACS daily housekeeping/QA is undertake
  • Carry out system testing before and after upgrades
