Job summary
We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic people to join the phlebotomy team at Horsham Hospital. The successful candidates will work as part of a team collecting blood samples from both in patients and out patients.
The working hours will be 20 hrs. per week, Monday to Friday , 12.00 - 16.00. These core hours are non-negotiable.
As the workload fluctuates on a daily basis you may be asked to work extra hours so you will need to have a flexible approach towards the role.
You will be expected to have good communication skills and have a caring and compassionate nature. A nursing or similar healthcare / carer background would be an advantage.
Experience is preferable but not essential as full training will be given to the right candidate.
Trained and skilled Phlebotomists are also required to join our Bank to work ad hoc hours to cover annual leave and sickness.
