Join Our Team as a Specialist Occupational Therapist in Eating Disorders!
Are you passionate about developing your career as a Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist in Eating Disorders? We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our Trust-wide Adult Eating Disorders Service (AEDS) working in our Enhance Treatment Team. T he development of the ETT is an exciting new multi-disciplinary initiative. This new intensive treatment pathway aims to reduce hospital admissions and to provide an alternative to day care for initial stabilisation purposes when needed
Position Details:
- Location:Primarily based within our Enhanced Treatment Team (ETT) at Farnham Road Hospital, Guildford, with occasional work from our Epsom site and other hub locations.
- The role includes completing home visits as part of your duties.

Main duties of the job
To provide high quality and evidence based occupational therapy assessment and interventions, both group and individual, to people who access AEDS and ETT services and their carers/supporters/family members, in line with the occupational therapy pathways.
To communicate effectively with people who access services, carers, the multi-disciplinary team and when appropriate outside agencies. To contribute to the generic functioning of the team. Toprovide supervision and mentoring to more junior occupational therapists, occupational therapy apprenticeships, support workers and activities coordinators (as appropriate)
To provide occupational therapy student placements.
To contribute to service development and audits.
