Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity to join our new and evolving neurodevelopmental team within the children and young people's division (6-18 years). As a needs led service our vision is to ensure that the needs of young people are met at the earliest point whilst we are also focused in ensuring we provide the highest quality ASD and ADHD diagnostic assessments and medication support for ADHD.

THRIVE Model:

The new children's Surrey Health and Emotional Well-being Alliance incorporating the Surrey Well-being Partnership, Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Trust, Barnado's, National Autistic Society, Learning Space and the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust are in an exciting and transformational phase of mobilising a holistic mental health and emotional wellbeing service for the children and families of Surrey embedded within the THRIVE model led by our Tavistock and Portman partners.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a practitioner who has a passion in this area and willingness to learn and develop there skills in supporting these diagnostic assessments under the supervision of a qualified clinical psychologist, with room to work independently according to a plan agreed with the supervising psychologist. To assist in clinically related administration, conduct of audits, collection of outcome statistics, and/or other project work as appropriate and agreed with the team leader and supervising psychologist.
