We are looking for an experienced Administrator to work in our busy office, following administrative processes for tasks supporting our Paediatricians. You will support the team in general administrative work such as dealing with telephone enquiries from service users, making appointments for children, and supporting the day to day running of our Frimley clinic.

You will support the Lead Administrator with tasks such as formatting reports, populating and managing spreadsheets, following up blood results, processing referrals and supporting the Lead Administrator and the Paediatricians with any ad hoc tasks. You will need to have a keen eye for accuracy and be competent in all aspects ofMicrosoftoffice.

The Developmental Paediatric Service is a Surrey wide service offering over 1,000 appointments per month across Surrey to our service users. One of 5 clinics in Surrey, our clinic in Frimley consists of 5 Administrators and a team of 4 Paediatricians and covers the Surrey Heath and North Hampshire areas.

Main duties of the job

To support, liaise and work effectively with the Developmental Paediatricians.

To liaise with the wider team and external agencies as applicable.

To ensure good record keeping in line with current practice and computer systems

To demonstrate effective time management skills to manage workload independently and as part of the Team to ensure duties are performed efficiently and service standards are met.

To effectively and sensitively communicate with parents of patients and other organisations involved in the care of the patients.

To participate in other administrative tasks to support the service provided by the Records team including photocopying, scanning, uploading and mail management.

To demonstrate good proof-reading skills for reports and letters dictated by the Doctors.

To ensure timely booking of clinic appointments for Developmental Paediatricians across Surrey

To create and maintain any necessary spreadsheets and to provide support to the Administration Manager for reporting of figures for service KPIs.

Effectively manage the recording and sending out of prescriptions

To engage in any other general administrative duties associated with the role.
