An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of a well-established community recovery team in Runnymede and Spelthorne, NW Surrey.
The post offers a diverse range of experience working with people with complex mental health difficulties. You will join a friendly and supportive group of psychologists in the locality and there will be opportunities to develop your knowledge and skills through CPD. The trust has an enviable care pathways system which values psychology, psychotherapy and the arts psychotherapies and there are opportunities to train in DBT, CBT for psychosis, family interventions, CBT for personality disorders and structured clinical management as well as coaching opportunities.
As a Trust we pride our-selves on our innovative and collaborative approach to providing the highest quality, person-centered care. As an early implementer site for new models of care, we are currently developing integrated care pathways across primary and secondary care.
Please note that this post may change subject to funding so the postholder may be redeployed to a similar post elsewhere within the trust from April 2024.
Main duties of the job
Job Overview:
To assess, plan, implement and evaluate the psychological needs of people using our services.
To mentor, supervise and teach qualified and unqualified staff including students
Promoting a psychological perspective both within teams and sharing with other colleagues
Work collaboratively with team managers/ Clinical leads in the development and delivering of effective services
The postholder will be expected to work flexibly within the service
To lead on complex and challenging cases and develop expertise within area of specialism
Participating in the recruitment and selection of staff
Leading on a specific service development projects

We also provide social care services for people with a learning disability in Croydon and ASD and ADHD assessment services in Hampshire.
