Job summary
A Scrum Master is a servant leader, coach, mentor, and facilitator. They will encourage and facilitate continuous improvement of the design team, coaching and mentoring both team members and others, to apply the most appropriate agile and Scrum framework.
This role will build and maintain relationships, ensuring that the team is motivated, collaborating, and working well by engaging with key stakeholders to meet the changing demands on health and social care.
They are responsible for the performance and output of the team. The Scrum Master will identify obstacles, and remove blockers or impediments in order to help the team to overcome them, focusing the team on what is most important to the delivery of products/projects.
Main duties of the job
Suitable for someone who has proven knowledge/experience of working as a servant leader and being able to deliver high profile/high value/high-quality projects. They will need to be a confident communicator who is able to influence, inspire and lead others from different backgrounds and all levels of seniority. They will recognize when something does not work and encourage a mindset of experimentation. They are able to use a blended approach depending on the context and can measure and evaluate outcomes. This role will suit someone who likes a challenge and who has the drive, enthusiasm, and ability to motivate individuals to deliver exceptional outcomes in a constantly evolving environment.

Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is the leading provider of health and social care services for people of all ages with mental ill-health and learning disabilities in Surrey and North East Hampshire. We also provide social care services for people with a learning disability in Croydon and ASD and ADHD assessment services in Hampshire.
