Job summary
The Crisis Intervention Service is currently undergoing some exciting changes that are enabling us to offer band 5-6 developmental roles for staff with a passion and keen to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge to support our young people in crisis.
The team is friendly and nurturing and keen to support staff development within our crisis pathway. This will enable our young people accessing services to receive the best care. We are committed to offering further training, regular supervision and learning while continuing to develop your clinical skills.
1 x Full-time role - Gatton Place, Redhill
1 x Full-time role - South Lodge, Epsom
1 x Full-time role - Unither House, Chertsey
Main duties of the job
Your role within our team will be to offer assessments to young people, their families or carers, that are in crisis either within an acute hospital or the community. You will work alongside the young person to identify their needs and risks, creating a My Safety Plan that the young person can share with those identified to help support them within their care plan, working alongside other identified professionals to meet their needs while accessing up to six follow up sessions with you in the community.
You will be responsible for maintaining clear and concise documentation and communication with everyone involved with the young persons care, taking into account confidentiality and any safe guarding needs identified. You will work autonomously and as part of a team, working closely with the senior team member you are working alongside to discuss and support clinical decision making, alongside the team manager.
