Job summary
Due to the promotion of current post holder, an opportunity has arisen for a Community Mental Health Nurse to work in our lively and friendly team based in the market town of Dorking, Surrey.
This post is a Band 5/6 Developmental post and suitable for a newly qualified nurse.
Main duties of the job
The Mole Valley CMHRS delivers care in line with care pathway frameworks and this is an exciting time to join and contribute to the team.
The post holder will hold a small caseload and focus on delivery of a specific time-limited intervention using the recovery model. The care and treatment will focus on empowering service users to use their strengths, skills and special interest to help in their recovery whilst under the secondary services working with our Multidisciplinary Team. You will be offered regular clinical supervision and support from the Clinical Lead.
Successful applicants will demonstrate a high level of commitment, motivation and knowledge of working with people with severe and enduring mental health needs.
The candidate must have a full and valid driving licence due to the community element of the role.
