Job summary
We are pleased to announce we have a position available for a Band 5/6 Development post, to join our multi-disciplinary Community Mental Health Team, covering the Borough of Elmbridge for Working Age Adults with Severe and Enduring Mental Illness. This post will include the opportunity for further training in working with people with Personality Disorders (EUPD, CBT, DBT) Training. Family intervention training and CBT for Psychosis and Bi-Polar and HEE funded training courses available throughout the year. Extensive opportunities to work with other core professions and with our Acute Pathway colleagues, making this post suitable for a newly qualified Nurse, needing to complete their Preceptorship. Full Clinical/Managerial Supervision will be given. The post will involve a mixture of Case Management and delivering therapeutic interventions, and opportunities to work closely with our Social Care colleagues and Community Connection partners so that we can cater for the needs of the Client and their Carers.

We are based in the heart of West Molesey, Surrey with many local amenities. We have Wifi and Ample free car parking available.
Main duties of the job
You will manage a caseload of clients, and use evidence based/client-centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions as part of the holistic approach. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. You will be committed to the delivery of a high-quality service, working both independently and as part of a well-established, innovative team in meeting the needs of people who use the service and their carers.

A successful candidate would be employed at Band 5 and, after completing a preceptorship and/or a period of supervised practice and demonstrating evidence of competence, would then be supported to move to a Band 6 role.
The candidate must have a full and valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes due to the community element of this role.
