Job summary
An exciting opportunity to join our Application Development team as a Scrum Master. We are currently growing our development team as well as looking to expand our solutions catalogue.
The Application Development team forms part of the wider Design and Solutions team and is responsible for delivering a range of innovative bespoke solutions to support the work of colleagues across the Trust.
The team is currently in a period of growth and is looking to fully embrace Agile methodologies - and that's where you as an experienced Scrum Master can be a key player.
As a new role in an expanding team, the role offers scope for growth and development and a chance to get involved in various aspects of the team's work including developing application specification documents.

Main duties of the job
A Scrum Master is a servant leader, coach, mentor, and facilitator. They will encourage and facilitate continuous improvement of the design team, coaching and mentoring both team members and others, to apply the most appropriate agile and Scrum framework.
This role will build and maintain relationships, ensuring that the team is motivated, collaborating and working well by engaging with key stakeholders to meet the changing demands on health and social care.
They are responsible for the performance and output of the team. The Scrum Master will identify obstacles, remove blockers or impediments in order to help the team to overcome them, focusing the team on what is most important to the delivery of products/projects.
