Job summary

We are looking to appoint an Assistant HR Advisor to join our Employee Relations team. The successful candidate will proactively support the Employee Relations team, responsible for providing effective first line advice on HR Policy, alongside the effective co-ordination of sickness absence and providing administrative support with formal investigations, working towards the operational and strategic objectives of Ashford & St. Peters Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Main duties of the job

The successful Band 4 HR Assistant will be -

providing first line support and advice on the application of Trust policies to managers and staff

supporting divisional managers in implementing the Trust Sickness Absence Policy, with the ability to analyse data and work pro-actively to support the reduction of sickness absence across the Trust

Support the team in a wide range of administrative HR issues, including co-ordinating arrangements for hearings, and must be willing to get involved in ad-hoc HR projects to benefit the workforce

support with the co-ordination and arrangements for Job Matching Panels
