An
exciting opportunity has arisen to further improve the Ophthalmology Department
at Ashford Hospital.
This
is a fixed term role of Clinical Office Administrative Co-ordinator (maternity
cover) is required to provide administrative support within the main clinical
office. Candidates are required to have a high level of organisational skills
and someone who is good at communicating with a wide range of health care
professionals as well as patients and their relatives.

Main duties of the job
The
successful candidate will be responsible for organising timetables, dealing
with clinic capacity and the outpatient waiting lists for both new and follow
up patients. Ideally the successful candidate will have an understanding of the
18 week pathway.
You
will be working in a large but busy team responsible for the day-to-day
management of the clinical office. You will act as a point of contact for
patients, consultants, nurses, Orthoptists, photographers and other
departments.
You
will be expected to support your colleagues and Team Leaders/ Assistant Service
Manager in the Clinical Office completing administration duties.
