Job summary
We have a new opportunity for someone to lead on establishing and developing the strategic direction and potential of Speech and Language Services within ASPH. We are looking for an individual that it excited by providing professional and clinical leadership to our speech and language therapists.
Main duties of the job
To be responsible for the leadership and operational management of Speech and Language services in medical, surgical, critical care inpatients
To provide professional and clinical leadership to speech and language therapists working within services at all Trust sites
To significantly contribute to the Therapy transformation agenda and lead on a number of key projects
To work in collaboration with key partners, stakeholders and other Therapy Leads in the planning and delivery of the therapy services at ASPH.
To work in partnership with key external stakeholders to deliver a seamless transition for patients between primary and secondary care.
To be responsible for the provision of post graduate training and education and opportunities for research and development across speech and language therapy using resources available
To establish effective clinical governance through agreed policies and procedures
To achieve high staff satisfaction scores and good staff retention rates.
