Job summary
Our Outstanding Intensive Care Unit (ICU) based at St. Peters Hospital, Chertsey, Surrey is now recruiting band 5 Nurses to join our friendly and supportive Team.
Being part of an extensive network of Intensive Care Units, NHS Trusts and Local Health Commissioners, St. Peters ICU is a purposed built 15 beds Unit, fully refurbished In May 2017, with decades of expertise providing the highest level of care for patients who are looking for the best treatment.
We currently see around 1200 patients a year in our Unit, being our patients often admitted with multi-organ failure requiring ventilation support, renal support via continuous venous haemofiltration, cardiac support with Intra-aortic balloon pumps, cardiac output monitoring, added to our trauma and elective surgery alongside other medical conditions.
Main duties of the job
Duties for this post will include clinical responsibilities such assessing, planning, delivery, and evaluation Nursing Care. And, as part of your growth, there is also opportunities to rotate into the Outreach Team who offer a comprehensive supporting service to the Hospital, so your development will not be limited to the ICU area and is focused on opening new horizon for you as a Nurse.
You will be working with the Multi-Disciplinary Team, and we will work alongside you to develop further your communication skills, IT expertise and further your compassionate care provision.
