Job summary
Maternity are seeking a proactive and highly motivated tongue tie practitioner to join the Infant Feeding Team. The successful candidate will need to be registered with the Association of Tongue Tie Practitioners, skilled in supporting infant feeding (IBCLC preferable) and competent in IT skills.
This exciting new post will involve managing clinic lists from referral to follow up; supporting parents to confidently achieve their feeding goals alongside the midwifery and infant feeding team. The role will involve clinical assessment and division of tongue ties, clear documentation and service audits for improvement.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the care of babies referred for suspected tongue tie, providing a high standard of care to neonates and their families.
You will provide a comprehensive and cohesive service from liaising with parents, arranging clinic lists, assessing tongue function as part of a comprehensive feeding assessment through to assisting parents with ongoing feeding advice, support and follow up.
