Job summary
- Fixed Term Contract for six months
- The role is Straight to Test (STT) Administrator for gastroenterology
- To monitor the Electronic Referral System and help to identify patients who require a STT pathway alongside the consultants
- Supporting consultants to manage the Straight to Test pathway for gastroenterology patients
- Working as part of the wider Gastroenterology Admin team and supporting any additional tasks as required for the running of the service
- Supporting consultants to review histology results
- Managing the Straight to Test Pathway from end to end
- Ensuring patients are dealt with in a timely manner and investigations ordered
- Working with the Assistant Service Manager and Team Lead for Gastroenterology to ensure that patients on the waiting list have their STT pathway managed effectively
Main duties of the job
- Fixed Term Contract for six months
- Candidate needs to be confident to manage own workload as well as being part of a team
- Able to use Microsoft office, email, excel and other Trust systems of which training will be available
