Job summary
ASPH are looking to recruit a new team of dynamic individuals to work within a variety of medical and surgical specialties.You will join the existing admin and management teams as a specialist patient pathway tracker.
This involves helping to validate waiting lists, correct data, training of staff and overall helping patients progress from GP referral to getting their NHS treatment.
These are computer based roles and involve using various sources of electronic data to ensure all of our patients' journey to treatment happens without delay, and entering data on to our systems as we check and follow our patients to make sure they remain safe at all times.
Ashford and St Peter's Hospitals are tracking 100,000 patient interactions at any one time so these are busy and exciting roles. Staff already working in these roles thoroughly enjoy them and take pride in making a difference!
You do not need prior NHS experience and full training will be provided on appointment.

Main duties of the job
Patient Pathway Tracker's will be responsible for new and follow-up waiting list management and monitoring of RTT pathways. They will be responsible for validating and monitoring the Trust's performance against the Referral to Treatment 18 week waiting time standards and they will work as a member of the pathway tracking clinical team, acting as a local expert on RTT 18 week guidance.
They will pay particular focus to the tracking of overdue follow-up appointments, introducing robust systems to avoid 'loss to follow-up'.
They will also help to ensure patients receive treatment within the required timescales through monitoring and auditing elective patient pathways.
