Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible individual to join our team and existing Ward Clerk cover. The post is a pivotal part of the team providing effective and efficient reception and administrative support service to the ward.

This position will involve working with patients, relatives, carers and ward staff.The post holder will be required to work a variety of shifts to provide seven-day ward cover between the hours of 8am - 8pm

Main duties of the job

The Key role of the job is to provide effective and efficient responses to visitors and phone calls to the ward. The post holder will need to have IT skills as the majority of our systems are now online. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent communication skillsThe post holder will work closely with the nursing team to support our patients and their families in their communication.
