Job summary

The Division of Diagnostics, Therapeutics and Cancer Services (DTC) is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Project Manager to join the team for 12 months.

DTC is a busy division, with many of its Departments supporting activity across the whole Trust. As such, the post holder will be expected to work across organisational boundaries to contribute to the initiation, development and management of a variety of projects in line with the Division and Trust's Strategy. Collaboration and strong interpersonal skills will be key to success.

The post holder will work with the relevant departmental leads, divisional staff and others to manage and support the delivery of improvement, strategic and redesign projects.

The successful applicant will be highly collaborative and have significant experience of implementing a wide variety of projects within large public sector organisations, preferably within the acute NHS setting.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will use and champion best practice approaches and a wide range of improvement tools to contribute to the development and delivery of a number of improvement and strategic delivery projects with multiple stakeholders.

The post holder will play a key role in implementing and helping embed improvement processes and best practices across the Trust and will help transfer knowledge to colleagues involved in project delivery.
