Job summary
We are seeking a bank administrator to support our
Quality and Patient Safety teams. The successful candidate will support the
team with administrative tasks such as facilitation of meeting and minute
taking. You must be able to work confidently and autonomously with the ability
to prioritise your workload as required. This is a busy office with competing and
constant demands.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will:
provide
administrative support to the Quality and Safety teams
prepare and facilitate trust wide meetings
complete minutes and actions logs for meetings
support the department and organisation by
carrying out any other duties that reasonably fit within the broad scope of a
job of this grade and type of work.

Provide high quality comprehensive
administrative support to the quality and safety teams
To be responsible for transcribing of dictation
letters
Have the ability and commitment to work as a
team member and be able to adhere to strict deadlines.
Organise, prepare and facilitate trust wide
meetings, including the preparation of an agenda, sharing of documents and
meeting invites
Complete accurate meeting minutes from
meeting recordings/ attendance at meetings
Organise and prioritise own workload to meet
Trust / Department deadlines
Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all
times
Develop effective working relationships with
key members of staff across the Trust
Support the preparation of reports for
internal and external stakeholders
Support the sharing of patient records with
the local Coroner
Exercise
independent judgement and initiative when problems arise taking the necessary
action to resolve the problems or referring to the appropriate person.
Competent
use of Surrey Safe Care (Cerner), after training in accordance with required
departmental standards of work. Establish good levels of communication and
liaise with other secretaries, medical staff and other departments and
hospitals
