Main duties of the job

The purpose of this post is to enable the successful candidate to gain further experience in Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery and Orthopaedic Surgery for young people, whilst providing senior support to the professional team in carrying out its Clinical & Research workload in outpatient clinics, operating lists and ward work.

Applicants must be at the level of FRCS (Tr and Orth), and have completed, or be very close to the end of their higher specialist training in Trauma and Orthopaedics in order to be shortlisted. The successful candidate will be intending to pursue Paediatric Orthopaedic surgery as a specialist career and will have experience inChildren's Orthopaedic surgery and be able to work in senior position of responsibility in an Orthopaedic team.
