Job summary

To be a member of the Interdisciplinary team, contributing to the effective, quality care of patients.

  • To respect and maintain confidentiality in all matters relating to the unit and patients
  • to keep the department maintained , stocked and tidy, while adhering to health and safety policies.
  • to assist qualified members of the department with the delivery of planned healthcare.

Main duties of the job

We currently have a vacancy for a senior Nursing assistant in a busy Trauma Outpatient Department. Main roles include assisting the flow of the clinic, preparing patients for assessment and applying basic splints. There is an opportunity to assist in the plaster room after a probationary period. You will be provided with support from a friendly committed team. Applicants will need to have previous healthcare experience and will have completed the care certificate or equivalent. The post is for 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm , with 1 weekend in 4, 8 am -11.45 am Saturday and Sunday.
