Job summary

This is an ideal role for a pharmacist wanting to work in a dynamic leading edge specialty- Respiratory Medicine. The respiratory department is an excellent research renowned Tertiary Centre and this role would enable you to deepen your clinical knowledge and skills and develop leadership skills in working with a very motivated wider multidisciplinary team. In particular, you will be instrumental in managing patients and delivering transformative care to patients who have interstitial lung disease.

Main duties of the job

The post-holder will:

  • Become an expert in Respiratory Pharmacy with a focus on ILD.
  • Respiratory medicine will include COPD, Interstitial Lung disease and pleural medicine as well as severe asthma.
  • You will be responsible for delivering our ILD to provide excellent patient care. This will include all aspects of ILD treatment, homecare including related documentation and supporting clinics.
  • To be a key role in the Respiratory Pharmacy team and wider multidisciplinary team with all related initiatives in teaching, service and guideline development.
  • To demonstrate Trust values and professionalism in all day to day work and communications.
