Opportunity for a band 5 registered nurse to be part of a busy and developing orthopaedic outpatient department.
Main duties of the job
Registered nurse in the orthopaedic outpatient department .
- to co-ordinate the smooth running of clinics of different specialities
- support junior members of the team, new staff and students
- perform observations, ECG's, IM injections, wound dressings, removal of sutures and clips, administration of drugs, bladder scanning and phlebotomy.
- Initial assessment and co-ordination of urgent referrals.
- Plan and co-ordinate extra clinics as required
