Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the Infection Prevention and Control team at Oxford University hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as an Administrator and data support in a full time role.
The post holder will be a key member of the Infection Prevention and Control team. They will be expected to provide, a comprehensive, professional and confidential administrative and data support service to the Lead Nurse and Manager and members of the Infection Prevention and Control Team (IPCT). Thiswill support the delivery of the Infection Prevention and Control service to the Trust.
Previous experience in working in an administrative role in a hospital or other clinical setting is desirable but not essential.
Main duties of the job
To collaborate with the members of the Infection Prevention and Control team in the provision of and efficient and effective infection prevention and control service.
To provide, a comprehensive, professional and confidential administrative and data support service to the Lead Nurse and Manager and members of the Infection Prevention and Control Team (IPCT)
The Infection Prevention and Control team are based at all four main hospitals sites and work across the Trust.

- To book meeting venues as required for the team, across all sites, using the relevant booking platforms and processes.
- To be responsible for the organising of formal meetings, to include preparation and circulation of the agenda, minutes, collated papers or reports to appropriate staff
- Managing, developing, updating and monitoring the content on the IPC, Decontamination, Continence, Sepsis Sharepoint sites.
- Assist the Lead nurse and manager and other IPCT members as appropriate with project work for the Trust.
- To use the Trust electronic rostering system to produce and maintain records of staff duties.
- Entering Data on to the UKHSA Data Capture System
- To compile clear and concise reports involving complex data and information from a variety of sources
- To co-ordinate the Annual Infection Prevention and Control Conference ensuring smooth running on the day.
