Job summary

This role supports a busy, fast-moving technical environment and a diverse user community across Oxfordshire, and can provide considerable technical and personal development in a wide range of technologies and operational/project functions.

This post operates within the Server team of the IM&T Service Delivery group, and is responsible for delivery, support and administration of corporate server-based systems for approximately 18,000 users across a large number of NHS sites within Oxfordshire.

Main duties of the job

The post holder plays a major technical role within the Server team to ensure that the service level agreements are met or exceeded, and that policies, processes and procedures within IM&T Services customer organisations adhered to.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and will be experienced and technically competent in server technologies; and the development and improvement of processes and standards.
