Job summary
SUWON theatres are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and highly motivated individual to join the team as an Admin Manager. The Admin Manager for SUWON Theatres will support the Operational Services Manager, who in conjunction with the Clinical Director and the Matron, are responsible for the operational management of Churchill, Horton and Women's Centre Theatres; due to multiple sites cross site cover and willingness to travel is essential. The post holder will take responsibility for ensuring the efficient and effective day to day running of the administration associated with SUWON Theatres.
Main duties of the job
This post will provide line management for the administrative team at the Horton and Women's centre site, supporting the Churchill in the absence of colleagues and have oversight of administrative and operational planning processes.
The post holder will provide leadership and contribute to the delivery of the Theatres performance indicators, supporting the Directorate to maintain financial balance, the development and implementation of service improvements and engaging with teams to ensure best quality care is provided.

- Ensure the effective operational management and day to day delivery of theatre activity supporting the Operational Services Manager (OSM), Matron and Clinical Director.
- Support the OSM and DOSM with the trust-wide implementation and ongoing management of 6-4-2 theatre planning processes including the development of an electronic rostering system.
- Work collaboratively with other services (including anaesthetics, surgical specialities and others) across the Trust maintaining effective working relationships to ensure efficient utilisation of resources.
- Report incidents using the Trust Incident reporting system and support the investigation, review and learning from incidents.
- Work with the DOSM to manage the recruitment and selection processes, and the training, of administrative staff within Theatres.
- Ensure that day to day administration cover is in place to support the departments; this will include the effective monitoring and management of annual leave and sickness to ensure appropriate levels of cover are maintained
