Job summary
The post holder will be the focal point for the provision, management, allocation and policy relating to residential accommodation provided to staff through the Trust. Line Manage the Accommodation Administrator. Provide support to the Property Management team with finance administration.
The post holder will require a high level of skills, knowledge and experience in the field of accommodation management.
Main duties of the job
Be the Trust's single point of specialist focus for all accommodation management to maximise accommodation efficiency, availability and accessibility for staff and students. Provide advice and guidance to prospective and existing staff/students covering a wide variety of accommodation issues. Work closely on any strategic residential projects involving other agencies and public sector organisations. Communicate with a wide range of stake holders, clinical and non clinical staff with the Trust and wider NHS. Ensure effective communication strategies and plans are put in place to support property management initiatives and projects. Build working partnerships with providers and develop a co-operative relationship to the mutual benefit of both parties. Ensure professional working relationship with key contacts at the hospital and landlords, including housing providers. Responsible for providing and receiving complex, sensitive or contentious information, where persuasion and negotiation skills are required. Ensure repairs and maintenance are carried out in a timely manner, communicating with any affected tenants. Support the Senior Property Manager when necessary. Evaluate levels of service against standards and be aware of legislation that may have an operational or financial impact on the Trust.
