Job summary

The Chipping Norton Community Midwifery team are currently looking to recruit community midwives, both full and part time with options to work flexibly.

The team are based within the Cotswold Birth Centre in Chipping Norton and provide care for women registered with the following GP surgeries: Bloxham, Charlbury, Chipping Norton, Deddington, Kidlington, Woodstock and Wychwood.

The role will provide an invaluable opportunity to build relationships with women and their families throughout the antenatal and postnatal period, as well as providing intrapartum care in home and MLU settings. We are particularly passionate about continuity of carer, and the successful midwife applicant will be expected to lead the care for their own caseload of women.

The midwives are supported by a fantastic team of MSW's.

Main duties of the job

Full and Part Time hours are available. Must be a car driver and have access to a car during the day and for on calls.

This position will be also advertised externally and it is possible there may be more than one interview date.
