Job summary
The AMR directorate is looking for a Business and Performance Analyst to support the directorate. In conjunction with the OSM (Operational Service Manager), Clinical Director (CD), Matrons and DOSM (Deputy Operational Service Managers) the post holder will work across organisational boundaries to ensure appropriate services are in place to deliver national and local strategic and operational service objectives and standards by supporting with business and performance analytics.
The AMR Directorate is one of the largest directorates within the organisation and supports a wide range of services, from A&E and inpatient wards to ambulatory areas and virtual wards; the post holder is responsible for working with the key stakeholders to undertake analysis of Virtual Ward data sets and guide teams in delivery of key quality, performance and financial plans across Oxfordshire.
The primary duty of this post is to provide comprehensive and high-quality information and performance support to support the division's community services, by the provision of management information and analysis. The Analyst will carry out routine analyses, proactive investigations, prepare reports to underpin contract management, performance management, and service development.
This post will also be responsible for monitoring data quality, contributing to and supporting the division's data quality improvement programme.

- Producing and presenting management information for use within the Directorate
- Providing ad hoc support to respond to information requests by end users
- Providing timely and accurate reporting to external bodies on the Trust's performance, in line with national definitions
The post holder will be expected to develop expertise in specific subject areas as well as a good general understanding of the departments work.
They will be expected to liaise closely with colleagues within the department and the wider trust to meet the organisation's reporting needs.
Main Responsibilities:
- To support the Virtual Ward to provide accurate monthly reporting against the Key Performance Indicators.
- To be the key point of contact for queries relating to CM2000, PASS and other non-EPR systems used within the Directorate.
- To be responsible for ensuring that Services correctly logging information on CM2000/PASS/EPR for payment purposes.
- Be pro-active in identifying service areas and teams requiring improvement, and coordinate support and development, using initiative to prioritise available resources.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuing education including identifying own training needs / reflect and learn from practice of self and others.
- Be aware of and promote whole system working.
