- To maximise value from the supply chain by developing and leading on strategic procurement and category management across the designated corporate expenditure categories.
- To be the dedicated point of contact for all procurement and supply chain issues associate with the designated category of expenditure and to coordinate activities with the divisional Procurement and Category Business Partners where appropriate.

We are looking for an experienced Category Business Partner to oversee the management of all Corporate expenditure for the Trust and to lead the development of sourcing strategies to deliver value-for-money and improved services for our patients.
We are a forward-thinking team and whilst cost reduction activity remains important, our focus is beyond the traditional approaches, and is for the Trust to become the 'partner of choice' for key suppliers across the healthcare sector - a key strategic partner for product/service development, research, innovation and working collaboratively to improve healthcare for patients.
These roles will provide a high-level of expert knowledge and skill to ensure we are providing the best practice procurement and strategic sourcing, maximising value from the supply chain and develop a well-defined procurement category strategies and plans.
You will have experience of project management techniques, developing category strategies and managing complex procurement projects including business cases, options appraisal, tender documentation, tender evaluation and contract award processes.
