Job summary

This is an exciting time for the Trust within the context of a changing system landscape and develops new partnerships across our local Integrated Care System and beyond. The Trust recently published our Clinical Strategy and the Director of Strategy and Partnerships will have responsibility for the delivery of the plans.

This role is also responsible for overseeing out interface with primary care within this context and for overall leadership, direction and support of our Trust-wide Health Inequalities programme to identify and take systematic action to reduce inequalities of access, outcome and experience across our service.

The post-holder will manage a high-performing cross-functional team of strategy and clinical colleagues (across public health and primary care roles). They will be expected to present at Trust Board where appropriate and to deputise for the Chief Digital and Partnerships Officer when required.

Main duties of the job

This role is responsible for providing senior leadership for OUH strategy, and strategic engagement with the wider system, through partnerships within Oxfordshire, Thames Valley and more widely. The role heads up a high performing cross functional team who are responsible for:

  • Leading on all aspects of Trust-wide Strategy development
  • Providing strategic guidance and expertise across OUH
  • System strategy engagement
  • Strengthening our capacity in partnership working
  • Leadership of Health Inequalities Programme
  • Promoting Environmental Sustainability
