Band 6 Deputy Sister, Day Surgery Unit , Horton Hospital, Banbury, presenting a much sought-after opportunity to join our wider Theatre & Day Surgery Management Team, in Surgery, Women's & Oncology Division, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced RN to be appointed as a band 6 on our Day Surgery Unit at Horton Hospital. We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills who is able to empower and inspire a team. We are looking to employ an enthusiastic and dynamic Band 6 to complement our existing team. Our ward consists of surgical, medical bays and supports a wide variety of surgical disciplines including general surgery, endocrine, urology, ophthalmology, community dental and we undertake IBD infusions, blood transfusions and venesections.
You must have good organisational skills, be self-motivated and flexible. You will be expected to act as a role model at all times, promoting the trust values and striving to be the best in all areas of practice and to work alongside QI projects to expand the current day surgery service.
