Team Administrator - Diabetes Specialist Nursing & Podiatry

Job summary
The adult diabetes and podiatry team are looking for an experienced administrator to join their busy inpatient team. The ideal candidate must have sound administrative skills with experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
They must be able to work with minimal supervision, using their initiative and have the ability to prioritise their working day. Good organisational skills are essential as this is a key supportive role within a very busy team.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be dealing with incoming calls from wards to the inpatient nursing and podiatry team for patients to be reviewed. You will be working with the team to triage and ensure patients are seen within target, so a good attention to detail is essential. Knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook are also essential to enable the accurate data collection.
You will be a key part of the team and will attend team meetings including minute taking and ensuring supporting papers are circulated. Good IT skills are also required as you will update departmental SOP's and the Trust web pages using specific software. Training will be provided
